In class today we learned about the different types of figurative Language. In class we learned about eight different types of figurative language. Imagery, Simile, metaphor, alliteration, personification, onomatopoeia, Hyperbole, and Idioms. After taking notes we wrote three sentences for each one. That is mostly what we learned today.

Use formal language in things like School assignments and important essays. In formal language, there is no slang. You would use informal language in things like humorous essays and dialogue.
